SPGtv 501: Pre-Show Discussion

It's that time again! After a break of almost a year, SPGtv is BACK, with the premiere of Season 5 scheduled for a release in either December '08 or January '09. This will be the final season of SPGtv which I run, and will contain 3 episodes, with the finale hopefully coming out late next year if all goes to plan.

I'm assuming you all know the drill, but for those who don't:

[*] If you are making your show using a Clickteam product, it MUST be designed for a 520x340 resolution. If you are making your shows using anything else, a resolution of that size or lower is fine, though please submit in a format like AVI or MPEG (exceptions can be made, discuss this with me first though).
[*] Also for Clikckteam shows - no "Jump to Frame" events, they always fuck up when we put them in the bigger file. "Next Frame" only, please!
[*] Don't make your shows too big! I'm not going to put out an official limit this time, but if it comes to 10mb+ zipped, let's just say it better be REAAALLLLLLY good.
[*] Quality, people! As you've seen from things like The Leakiest Sink, the bar for show standards isn't TOO high but please try to make something decent. Shows MUST have something to do with South Park or SPG, too.
[*] We'll decide where to put in the scene skips but if you have any ideas, let us know. Do so in writing, do NOT make these events yourself as, like I said, "Jump to Frame" events aren't good for us.
[*] As far as censorship goes, Season 5 of SPGtv will be completely UNCUT. South Park 3000 alone is enough to show you that we'll accept just about anything, but no hardcore porn or anything like that. Use your head here!
[*] Don't put a watermark in the corner of your shows. I know we only did it in the first season, but I just want to re-iterate that for everyone.
[*] No interactive shows. It should play like a movie - beginning, middle, end.

Please put THIS logo at the end of your credits:

Centre it and put the text "An SPGtv Production, 2008" underneath in the font of your choice (something readable, though!).

The due date for shows is DECEMBER 24, 2008. Keep in mind this is December 24 at the latest - try to get your shows in before this time because it just makes it easier for us to prepare everything, and could even result in the final product being released a mere day or so after this date.

I would LIKE to have this be the first SPGtv I've run where the scheduled date hasn't been extended, but I will have to do so if we don't get at least 6 shows before this time. 6 is the bare minimum - I'm simply not putting out an edition of SPGtv with anything less.

So, that's everything. Use this thread to announce shows, discuss the upcoming addition or volunteer your services. I'll begin with something I'm sure you're all eager to see - a look at the new and improved episode guide! Oh, and South Park 3000. :P
