Zombie Park

This action was created by Beamer.
This game is rated 3 (out of 5) stars.
Description

The only full game released for this site in 2009, "Zombie Park" is a multi-genre action adventure allowing you to play as various characters in 13 tongue-in-cheek horror-themed levels. When the kids are waiting for the bus one night, they are suddenly ambushed by blood-thirsty killer zombies, and must take matters into their own hands to survive. Join Kyle, Stan, Cartman, Wendy and Butters as they embark on a mission to find out just where the zombies came from, and whether or not there's any way to stop them. An explicit, ultra-violent game made strictly for adults!

Good hour or so of game play. Challenging at times but drives you in to persist. Lot's of horror charm. Reminded me of Resident Evil at times. Definitely worth checking out!

I find it very reminiscent of the old SP Games, which is exactly the Beamer Games style I've come to know. Graphics wise; while it's nothing spectacular, it makes use of classic SPG sprites which give the game some charm right on par with all of the other decent+ SPGs out there. I noticed a lot of fine details Beams threw into the game; Especially the cut scenes. (Facial Expressions) And, although seemingly implemented quickly, I really liked the backgrounds in the Butters Ventilation level. "Shaking and Entering" I think it was called. Gameplay was pretty solid. I really liked how the zombies spawned from the trees in the first level. Although the game is full of minor bugs, those bugs have become commonplace in quick Clickteam products. Seeing as this is far from a "Masterpiece" of any sort, but more of a means of livening up the community, I won't complain about such minor bugs. "So what if Cartman's arms are overlapping objects that are supposed to be in-front of him, at least the game is playable!" Sound Effects felt very few BUT very appropriate. Things like the chainsaw, bus-mounted gun, and trees shaking, gave the game a more realistic feel. Could use some MIDIs!

Cheers RFI, though the game has copious amounts of MIDI music, methinks something is wrong with your computer's sound properties. ;)
