Kenny is stuck in Mephisto's lab, which has become overrun with evil clones of his friends! Hearing the screams of his original friends elsewhere in the lab, he must save them before it's too late. Venturing through Mephisto's lab, you must navigate Kenny through various obstacles while attacking each clone in a different way and getting the highest score possible. Made with Game Maker.
The game is all OK, just the graphic is kinda weird, the gameplay isn't something, and I always die in the second level.
If JVM would put a little more effort on those, the game would be great.
A really weird platformer made in Game Maker, "A Night in Mephisto's Lab" is an early effort from JVM which, although not bad, leaves a lot to be desired. The whole thing just comes across as being very rushed [for example, in the third level, the music stops playing and the Lives/Score part disappears]. Like Miketinovic said, he's got potential but he needs to put in more effort if he wants to release something more solid in the future. This is just an average platformer with a few too many bugs, despite the challenging gameplay.
I suppose this is a good first game. Its not a great game but somewhat subpar. The gameplay is a little agravating with the bugs and the hard to time tweak enemies.
